 上海臨港（gǎng）地區位於上海東南角，地處長江口和杭州灣交匯處，距上（shàng）海市中心（xīn）75公裏，北臨浦東國際航（háng）空港，南接洋山國（guó）際樞紐港，擁有13公裏長的海岸線，具備得（dé）天獨厚的碼頭資源，是上海沿海大通道（dào）的重要節點城市和中國（上海）自（zì）由貿（mào）易試驗區建設的直接腹地。“港為城用，城以港興”是臨港地區建設發展的基本思路。

 Located at the southeast corner of Shanghai, Shanghai Lingang area is located at the junction of Changjiang Estuary and Hangzhou Bay ,75 kilometers from the center of Shanghai ,75 kilometers north of Pudong International Airport and Yangshan International Hub Port in the south, with 13 kilometers of coastline and unique wharf resources. "Hong Kong for the city, the city to Hong Kong Xing" is the port area construction development basic idea.
